Sauer Knife of the Year 2024 “Oshipa”

The Sauer Knife of the Year "Oshipa" is the second knife in the Sauer annual series and an exclusive collector's artefact. The name "Oshipa" comes from the Ovambo language and means “bone”, as the handle scales of this high-quality hunting knife are made of stabilised kudu bone, which gives the knife a unique look. The knife has a blade made from Böhler N690 steel, which is known for its excellent edge retention and corrosion resistance. The sheath is made from vegetable-tanned leather and protects the knife from damage.

This special edition is limited to 500 pieces and is handmade in collaboration with the South African manufacturer Arno Bernard. Once again, harmonising values and established traditions merge to create another unique product of the highest quality.
