J. P. Sauer & Sohn GmbH guarantees that any user data will be collected, processed, stored and used only for matters related to customer queries or for internal purposes. Any disclosure of addresses to third parties, in particular to commercial address dealers or other companies, is excluded.

Logged data consists of the following: date and time of access, URL of the referring website, name of file accessed, data volume transferred, browser type and version, operating system and IP address of the customer. This data is anonymous and cannot be assigned to a specific person. The saved data will only be evaluated internally and for statistical purposes.

The J. P. Sauer & Sohn GmbH website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA (‘Google’).
Google Analytics uses so-called ‘cookies’, which are small text files that are stored on the user’s computer and enable an analysis of the use of the website. The information generated by the cookie about the use of this website (including the user’s IP address) will be transmitted to a Google server in the USA (third-party country, therefore relevant to data protection) and stored there.
Google will use this information to evaluate the use of the website, to create reports on website activity for the website operators and to provide other services related to the website and internet use. Google may also transfer this information to third parties when required by law or when such third parties process the information on Google’s behalf.
Google Analytics Add-on – J. P. Sauer & Sohn GmbH has altered the code of Google Analytics for the protection of its users. The user’s IP address is abbreviated to preclude precise geo-localization.
If a user wants to prevent his data from being used by Google Analytics, he can download and install the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on, which is available on the Google website at http://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=en.
J. P. Sauer & Sohn GmbH assumes no liability for any error caused by use of this add-on. Alternatively, the customer can adjust the security setting in his browser. Further information can be found in the instruction manual of the respective browser.
